Inclement Weather Policy

In the event that Chelsea schools close due to weather conditions, CPE Montessori Chelsea School will also close ON THE FIRST DAY. School closings on subsequent days (if necessary) will be announced on local radio stations and on this web site.

In the event the school is closed due to a power outage or other emergency, the children are directed to the Chelsea Elementary School and parents are notified as soon as possible to pick them up. 

Ensure your home and office phone numbers (including area code), SMS address and e-mail are up to date with the CPE administration to ensure you receive correspondence in the event of future school closures.
